Creating A World That’s Functional AND Inviting

Dolores founded SPACES in 1992.  Since then, she’s focused on creating warm, welcoming spaces, awash with rich colour and texture, for both residential and corporate clients.  She has worked on a variety of corporate projects, places of worship, hospitals… at one point, she even designed a jail.

I am building a sensual world  - One interior at a time.

It’s more than a casual belief – it’s the manifesto behind her interior design business, SPACES.

Good Design is a Two-Way Street…

“Communication is such a crucial part of design. You have to really listen to what people need, and what they want.”

Dolores is an accomplished public speaker, having won several Toastmasters speech contests and making appearances at numerous professional conferences, including the Home Office Show and the Professional Engineers of Ontario conference.

Her articles and projects have appeared in the National Post, Toronto Star’s Condo Living and Homes Magazine.  One of her kitchens is featured on HGTV’s “Kitchen Equipped”.

The Art of Living Well

When she’s not communicating on this continent, she’s soaking up the culture and cuisine of other countries for inspiration.  Dolores’ love of all things beautiful also extends to the arts, an extension of what she loves about her work.
